I joined the Medical Statistics Department in 2001 after completing the Masters in Medical Statistics at LSHTM. My research has focused on randomised controlled trials, clinical epidemiology, cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation, statistical computing and statistical methodology. My main areas of methodological research have been in risk score modelling, analysis of ordinal outcomes and methods for composite endpoints, including the win ratio method.
I continue to be very involved in the Masters in Medical Statistics, teaching on Foundations of Medical Statistics, Clinical Trials, and Advanced Research Methods. I am also involved in teaching on the distance learning Masters in Clinical Trials, and the short course in Essentials of Clinical Trials.
